- What are OFAs (Additional Educational Obligations)?
-
In order to start a university course of study, it is important to have some basic knowledge.
The Ministerial Decree n. 270/04 (art. 6, paragraph 1) assesses that students, in addition to the qualifications required by the current legislation, must also have adequate initial preparation to be admitted to a course of study.
The verification of this initial preparation aims at ensuring that there are no significant lacks in specific subjects.
If the examination shows gaps in one or more subjects, students must carry out some additional activities, called Additional Educational Obligations (OFA).
For the Degree and Master's Degree Courses with national or local programmed access, the assessment of any Additional Educational Obligation (OFA) is carried out by taking into account the score obtained in the admission test.
- OFA attribution
-
To all those students who do not provide at least 20% of correct answers in the admission test for one or more of the three subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics it will be assigned an Additional Educational Obligations (OFA).
- How to pass OFA
-
Students who find the Additional Educational Obligations (OFA) debt assigned in their Esse3 web university booklet must attend a remedial course, dispensed by the University through the e-learning platform, for the subject(s) for which they are in debt (e.g. Chemistry OFA = attend the OFA Chemistry Course).
The debt will be charged after the submission of the study plan and at the end of the enrollment procedures (December/January).
